Can the reservation be made per day, or does the rental period always continue for a week at a time?
The contract can be made for just as long as the need for housing. The customer is billed for the days when the apartment is reserved for him.
How and when is accommodation paid?
Payment for accommodation is made in full as an advance payment, for longer bookings the booking fee is paid in advance. We accept the most common credit and debit cards and cash. Invoicing is agreed separately. See payment methods here.
What furniture is included in the price?
In the Kotimaailma, the price includes everything essential. Like all the furniture in the home and the full equipment of the apartment.
Are other equipment included in the price?
In Kotimaailma, the prices include, among other things:
- Final cleaning
- Linen and bedding
- Hand and bath towels
- Furniture
- TV
- A microwave oven
- Toaster
- Coffee maker
- Hair dryer
- Iron and board
- All utensils needed for cooking and eating
- Own washing machine
- Insurance
- Water and electricity bills
In addition, most of our apartments have:
- Balcony
- Own sauna
- Dishwasher
In addition, it is possible to order additional services from us, e.g.:
- Parking space
- Intermediate cleanings
- Extra beds
Are there any restrictions or rules related to the home?
We expect the residents to treat the apartment appropriately and respectfully, as is usually the case with rented accommodation. In addition, we expect residents to follow local laws and regulations, as well as any housing association or neighborhood rules. When booking the apartment, we always clearly inform you about possible pet restrictions, smoking rules or other home-related restrictions.
How are problem situations handled?

Can I make changes to the furniture or interior design?
If you change the arrangement of the furniture in the apartment, return the furniture to its proper place when you leave.
Check-in and Check-out times
Check-in time is 16:00 and check-out time is 11:00. In Kotimaailma, it is possible to agree on apartment-specific check-in and check-out schedules as an additional service.
